Shin Foong Specialty and Applied Materials Co., Ltd. was established in July 1979 and is headquartered in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Shin Foong is the biggest manufacturer of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) in Taiwan, and now also the world's 7th biggest nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) manufacturer.
The main application of NBR is glove dipping which is suitable for medical and industry use. Shin Foong continuously focus on innovation and high quality and becomes a major material supplier to influential glove manufacturers.
Challenges
The manual, paper-based human resource management system in use by Shin Foong was insufficient for their growing needs while facing global competition. Thus, Shin Foong sought for a turnkey, flexible and automated eHR solution to boost their productivity and efficiency. Having a failure experience of implementing HR system before, Shin Foong, as an affiliate of one of the biggest enterprise groups in Taiwan, thoroughly evaluated their global system and found its design lack of flexibilities in meeting their requirements.
