DoubleGreen was founded in May 1997 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. We deeply understood that information technology would be a crucial element shaping future business development. We also recognized that the ability of enterprises to effectively utilize IT tools, particularly through intuitive and highly beneficial application software systems, would be critical to their competitiveness. With this in mind, our original intention was to build user-friendly and efficient information systems, assisting clients both domestically and internationally to embrace the information age and strive for excellence together!
1997
DoubleGreen Information Technology Founded
A group of ambitious young individuals, fresh from IBM, leveraged their experience on the "giant's shoulders." Having completed numerous internal information integration and automated scheduling management projects for major clients, they clearly saw the future trends and significance of information technology. Young, driven, and full of spirit, they felt invincible. Bursting with vitality, passion, and creativity, they stepped down from the "elephant" and founded DoubleGreen Information Technology.
1998
Taiwan’s First ERP Built with Advanced 3-Tier For Real-Time Data Integration
We helped AirAsia connect the user interface, system logic and notification, and data access layers through WebServer technology, establishing a three-tier information architecture that enables enterprise automation and real-time information updates and delivery.
1999
Web-Based Global Sample Distribution System Enabling Real-Time Enterprise-User Interaction.
We helped Philips develop a management system capable of responding to IC demands from around the world and arranging distribution shipments within a day and a half. This significantly boosted their response efficiency and competitive edge, enabling them to secure IC orders globally.
2000
Completed Taiwan's First Fully Web-Based eHR System, Featuring Online Self-Service
We developed a human resources service for Corning that is accessible anywhere, anytime, and on any device. By simply logging in via a web browser, users can access the HR system online, free from the limitations of specific computers, locations, or time zones.
2001
First to Integrate Automated Resume Data Import from Job Banks, Enabling Chi Mei Optoelectronics to Build a Comprehensive Talent Recruitment System
We fully leveraged our software development and integration capabilities to automatically transfer applicant information from job banks into their management system. This helped the enterprise create a highly efficient recruitment mechanism and manage interview records effectively.

SmoothHR 1.0 was developed with a comprehensive understanding of the needs of employees, supervisors, HR, and managers. This innovative system provides 24/7, location-independent online human resource services, accessible simply through a web browser.
2005
Taiwan’s First to Offer .NET and Workflow Services
Using Microsoft’s latest technologies, we built a complete e-process and notification system, helping IT teams quickly develop and deploy enterprise workflows.
2006
SmoothHR 2.0 Launched: Taiwan's Only eHR Human Resources Service Developed Entirely in .NET at That Time
Anticipating future trends in system development and breaking free from the limitations of older programming languages, we fully upgraded the web-based SmoothHR solution to the .NET system language. This ensured a flexible and adaptable development architecture, allowing for quick responses to future enterprise system needs. We also provided SmoothComponent.NET, a product offering various visualization system functions and components essential for enterprise e-transformation. This helped businesses quickly and easily achieve excellent visual system interfaces, giving clients a comfortable and smooth information usage experience.

10th Anniversary: Showcasing World-Class Software Technology Strength
We showcased our real-time cross-border integration skills by helping Corning implement the product document control system (WWDCC) across Taiwan, China, and Japan. Recognized by Corning Japan, this project built a solid foundation for our multi-country system integration expertise.
